About Us
Play Island Kids started with a simple idea: give families a place online where children can play without distractions or sign-ups, and learn something every time they play.
We're a small independent team that designs and codes every game from scratch. Before publishing an activity we ask three questions: Is it easy to understand for a child who can't read yet? Does it build a specific skill? Can it be played in just a few minutes?
What you'll find here
- Games for ages 3 to 5: short activities focused on colors, counting, shapes, memory, patterns, rhymes and coordination, with visual instructions and big buttons.
- Games for ages 6 to 13: slightly more challenging games such as Road Racer and Fashion Studio.
- Games for teens and adults: cartoon-style aim and physics challenges in a separate section, clearly labeled by age.
- Articles for families: practical guides about early learning, emotions, routines, screens and sleep.
Our principles
- Simplicity: big buttons, visual instructions and soft colors.
- Real learning: each game connects to early-childhood goals in language, logic, motor skills and understanding the world. Every game page explains the skills it practices and how to extend them off the screen.
- Safety: games require no accounts, there are no chats or in-game purchases, and we never ask children for personal information.
- Always free: the site is supported by ads, which we set up as non-personalized and kept outside the game areas.
How we write our articles
Our articles are written for parents and caregivers in plain language. We base them on widely accepted guidance from pediatric and early-education organizations and on practical experience with young children. They are general information only and do not replace advice from a pediatrician, teacher or other professional. We review and update articles when guidance changes, and the date at the top of each article shows when it was published.
