Games for teens and adults
A corner of Play Island for older players: aim challenges and physics puzzles that run in your browser, with no downloads and no sign-up.
Recommended age: 12 and up- ๐ฏ Target Range
A fairground shooting booth full of bullseyes, bottles, clay discs and golden stars. Aim, shoot, reload and build combos before the minute runs out.
- ๐ฐ Castle Crash
Pull the slingshot, read the curve and topple towers of wood, stone and glass. Eight levels with real physics: every block falls, rolls and breaks.
- ๐ Trick Shot Hoops
Impossible shots: bounce off walls, use trampolines and time moving platforms. Ten levels to master the arc.
Why these games
From about age 12, players want real challenges: games where skill shows and getting better comes from practice, not luck. We picked two kinds of game that deliver that and that adults enjoy just as much: aim, which trains reflexes and precision, and physics, which rewards thinking before you act.
All three games are non-violent. In Target Range you use a fairground toy blaster on bullseyes, bottles and clay discs, never on people or animals. In the physics games the goals are targets and block towers.
The physics behind the fun
In Castle Crash and Trick Shot Hoops everything follows real-world rules: gravity pulls down, launch speed sets the range and every collision loses a little energy. Launch twice as hard and the object doesn't go twice as far: it goes almost four times as far, because range grows with the square of speed. Players pick up that intuition long before they meet the formula in school.
Angle matters too: with nothing in the way, the longest throw leaves at about 45 degrees. Low shots are fast and direct; high shots drop almost vertically, perfect for clearing a wall.
Ideas for playing as a family
- Weekly high score: everyone plays three rounds of Target Range on the same difficulty and keeps their best.
- Call your shot: in Trick Shot Hoops, each player predicts where the ball will bounce before shooting.
- One-shot challenge: in Castle Crash, try to clear each level with a single stone for three stars.
Healthy screen time
Rounds are short, one to three minutes, designed for a quick session and a natural stopping point. We suggest 15 to 20 minute sessions with breaks to rest your eyes. High scores are stored only in your browser: no accounts and no personal data.
